Meszaros and Timonen out 'indefinitely'

Prior to the start of Sunday night's game against the Washington Capitals, it was reported by CSN Philly correspondent, Sarah Baicker that both Andrej Meszaros and Kimmo Timonen will be out of the lineup indefinitly with lower body injuries.

In their place for the time being will be Andreas Lilja and rookie callup Erik Gustafsson.

For Timonen, the injury will mark the first time in 248 games that he will miss a game.

For the Flyers, it means so much more.

While this is a scenario the team has had to deal with throughout the season, they have yet to undertake the challenge without the veteran presence of Timonen.

Luckily the team added Nicklas Grossman and Pavel Kubina at the trade deadline to bolster their unit.

The Checking Line will provide more information about the injuries when made available. Check back after Sunday night's game for a recap and full analysis.
