Erik Gustafsson has been recalled by the Flyers

It seems as though the Flyers will be welcoming another Phantom back to their roster.

Late Saturday night, it was reported by Tim McManus of the Glens Falls Post-Star that the team had recalled Erik Gustafsson to the roster.

The move may come under unfortunate circumstances.

It was reported earlier Saturday that Kimmo Timonen and Braydon Coburn were both absent from practice.

Later in the practice, Andrej Meszaros was seen leaving the ice early.

There has yet to be an official announcement from general manager Paul Holmgren.

With the addition of Gustafsson, it appears as though the team is preparing for the worst.

The 23-year old defenseman has played in 18 games this season with the Flyers and has recorded a goal, two assists, five hits and 20 blocked shots in that span.
