Flyers Look To Bounce Back Against Hurricanes
The Philadelphia Flyers (11-5-3) are back home tonight to take on the Carolina Hurricanes (7-11-3).
This will be the third meeting between these two teams this season with one more remaining in Carolina. The Flyers won both games this season and outscored the Hurricanes, 10-4.
The Flyers are 6-2-2 in their last ten games and are coming off of an undisciplined 6-4 loss to theWinnipeg Jets.
For the Hurricanes, tonight will be their third game in four days.
Carolina is 3-7-0 in their last ten, with one of those wins coming in yesterday's match up against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Flyers are averaging five goals per game against the Hurricanes this season.
They should be able to continue that trend tonight.
Philadelphia is leading the NHL in scoring with a 3.74 goals per game average, while the Hurricanes are surrendering 3.29 goals per game (28th in the league).
The Flyers have some work to do when it comes to goals against as they are giving up an average of three goals per game.
They also need to work on their faceoffs; they are only winning the draw 46.1% of the time with only Calgary having a worse time in the faceoff circle at 45.5%.

Look for Ilya Bryzgalov (8-4-2-1, 2.65 gaa) to be back in between the pipes for the Flyers tonight.
In his last six starts, Bryzgalov is 5-0-1 and has a 1.66 goals against average.
Look for Cam Ward (7-8-2-1, 3.19 gaa) to get the nod tonight for Carolina, he is 2-5 in his last seven starts. Ward is 4-9-2 in fifteen career regular season starts versus the Flyers.
