Gameday at New Jersey: Flyers Under Microscope After Brawl

Philadelphia Flyers (3-9-0) at New Jersey Devils (3-5-4)
Prudential Center —Newark, N.J.
TV: CSN Philly - Radio: 97.5 FM The Fanatic - 7:00 p.m.

Setting the Stage

Last night was incredibly embarrassing. Here's a recap. Here's my take on the Ray Emery incident. Nothing more needs to be said. This preview won't be long. I frankly don't have time for it today nor the energy to harp on it.

Tye McGinn has been recalled with Vinny Lecavalier and Steve Downie out for the game.

What to Expect

The Flyers need to make amends with last night. Even though it wasn't Emery's place to provide a spark in that sense, the team needs to respond to it.

The Devils are an awful team, but another bitter rival. It's a good situation to respond.

"I hope so. We’ve got some injuries. Vinny Lecavalier has an injury and we’ll get a good evaluation on him. So the guys who are healthy need to put their boots on and get back to work." - GM Paul Holmgren on this being rock bottom.
