Flyers Vs. Devils, Eastern Conference Semifinals: Couturier Out; Meszaros Possibly In For Game 4

Flyers rookie center Sean Couturier will be be out for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Devils in New Jersey on Sunday.

It is still speculation that Couturier has a lacerated right leg from an incident with Matt Clarkson in Game 3. The Flyers won't specify.

Couturier only skated for a few minutes before practice today but did not practice with the team. Zac Rinaldo will play in his place.

The Flyers lines for Game 4, going by what they were in practice:

van Riemsdyk-Giroux-Simmonds
Read-Schenn-Jagr
Hartnell-Briere-Voracek
Rinaldo-Talbot-Wellwood

Head coach Peter Laviolette is trying to get his best scorers going in this series. Scott Hartnell, Jaromir Jagr, Wayne Simmonds and Claude Giroux have scored only one goal among them this series.

Speaking of line changes, defenseman Andrej Meszaros could dress for Game 4. Meszaros was the first player on the ice and was paired with Andreas Lilja during practice.

Erik Gustafsson was paired with Pavel Kubina during drills as well and then shared time with Meszaros.

Jody Shelley also dressed during practice, playing with the defensemen as well.
