A lack of discipline doomed the Flyers last night.  They were embarrassingly crushed 10-3, as the Penguins took advantage on the powerplay and kept their season alive (TCL Flyers).  Bryzgalov’s shaky play throughout the series has finally caught up to him.  He allowed five goals on 18 shots and was pulled for backup Sergei Bobrovsky (CSNPhilly).

The Flyers showed they’re just as capable of losing focus (SBNation Philly).  Despite being dominated though, they must stay positive moving forward (CSNPhilly).  The Pens have proved their over the frustration, and now it’s got to be skill vs skill for the rest of the series (Orange and Black Pack).

To add injury to insult, Nicklas Grossmann left the game and didn’t return.  He’s listed as day-to-day with an upper body injury.  A hit to the head may have caused a concussion (TCL Flyers).   While he may be out for next game, forward James van Riemsdyk might be in (Frequent Flyers).

These teams hate each other, and it’s a hate that the NHL has no control of (Flyers Faithful).  Suspensions have been handed out left and right, and many people haven’t been happy with the decisions being made.  They’re taking it out on Brendan Shanahan though, which shouldn’t be the case (Crimespree Hockey).

The Flyers were unable to complete the sweep last night, and neither were the Kings...

They lost 3-1 to the Canucks as the ‘Nucks were desperate to keep their season going (  The Blues and Sharks will play tonight (, as will the Coyotes and Blackhawks (  The Preds and Wings will face-off tomorrow in Detroit (

Ottawa tied up the series with the first seeded Rangers, 2-2, last night with a 3-2 overtime win (  The Bruins will look to take a 3-1 lead over the Capitals (, and so will the Panthers over the Devils (
