==================================================================
The All-Star break is officially over, and games will finally be played tonight.
Tonight will commence the second half of the season for the Flyers.  This provides struggling goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov a 'fresh' start (TCLFlyers), in what won't be an easy month ahead (CSNPhilly).  There is, as some are predicting (Crimespree Hockey), a good chance "Bryz" could resemble a pretty good netminder.  He'll have the chance to prove he deserves a starting role tonight (@BroadStBull).
The Flyers really need to get going in the right direction.  They'll start by facing the Winnipeg Jets at home (TCLFlyers).  Eight of their next ten games will be in the Wells Fargo Center, and they'll have to win a lot if they plan on catching the division leading Rangers (Proud to Puck).  There are also different keys to succeeding in the second half, and the Flyers need to perform to their maximum capability to do well (CSNPhilly).
The Orange & Black did practice yesterday in preparation for tonight's game.  All four injured Flyers were out on the ice (CSNPhilly).  Briere, Jagr, JVR, and Rinaldo all participated in the team practice.  None of them had the yellow 'no-contact' jersey on, but only one will come back tonight: #68.  Jagr, who loves to play as much as possible, surprisingly wasn't frustrated about the nagging groin injury (Delco Times).  He stayed positive, and he'll be back in the lineup tonight after missing eight games (@tpanotch).
Claude Giroux and Evgeni Malkin are both elite players for sure.  If you compare them looking at the normal stats, the better of the two would be Malkin.  However, if you take a more advanced look, Giroux would come out on top (The Hockey Guys).
The trade deadline is just under a month away, and the Flyers may very well be looking for another defenseman (SBNation Philly).  With Gleason signing a four-year extension deal with the Hurricanes (AP), he's been crossed off the list.  One more player you can probably ignore rumors about is Ryan Suter (Philly.com).
It's time to get back to action tonight in the division:

All five teams will be facing off.  The Rangers will be in Newark taking on their cross-river rivals, the New Jersey Devils (Blueshirt Banter).
The Penguins, like the Rangers, will also be at home.  They'll be versing the 25-19-5 Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL.com).
The Islanders will be away to battle the Hurricanes (TCL Isles).  It will be a good game, as both teams are trying to get back into the playoff mix.
