The All-Star break is officially here, as the last NHL game until Tuesday was played last night between the Red Wings and Canadiens (TCL Red Wings).
Kimmo Timonen will be participating in the All_star events this weekend, and his nomination is well-deserved (TCLFlyers). He has been the leader of a young Flyers defense, blocking a total of 90 shots this season.
On the other hand, players who won't be participating in the All-Star events will welcome the weeklong break. Some will spend time with family, play golf, etc. Rookies Holmstrom, Sestito, and Zolnierczyk will continue to play hockey with the Phatnoms until the Flyers resume (CSNPhilly).
Hopefully Flyers' defenseman Marc-Andre Bourdon will be reviewing his game (TCLFlyers). Some of his decision making when in the defensive zone needs to take a turn for the better, and the break may be a good chance to go over some film.
Key contributions from everyone on the team and great road play have played a big part in the Flyers' success this year. All they need to do is improve on their not so great 11-7-3 home record. (SBNation Philly).
The NHL trade deadline is quickly approaching, and there's going to be many rumors. What should you, the fans, expect to happen at the deadline (Flyers Faithful)?
The teams won't be back in action until Tuesday, the 31st...
