The Flyers, coming off a win on Tuesday, will hope to get their 2nd in a row, going against the New York Islanders (NHL.com).  Sergei Bobrovsky is expected to get the start (TCL Flyers).  If they continue to get help from not only their stars, but contribution from just about every man on the team (TCL Flyers), it should be an easy task.  Then again, you can't ever look over a single game in this league, and Laviolette knows that, as the team practiced again today (Giroux tweet).
Now halfway through the season, the Flyers offseason moves looks like they're a definite success (TCL Flyers).  With the third highest-point total in the Eastern Conference, it would make no sense to say they're not succesful.
Meanwhile, with the NHL All Star Game less than 3 weeks away, the NHL named the remainder of the roster (NHL.com).  On his birthday (NHL tweet), Claude Giroux found out he'll be on the roster, joined by teammates Kimmo Timonen, Matt Read, and Sean Couturier (TCL Flyers).  Many people, like myself, believe Scott Hartnell should have also been chosen to play in the game (CSN Philly).

Taking a look at the standings, the Penguins were trying to catch the Devils for the second night in a row.  Along with a win, they would also need the Devils to lose in order to accomplish this:

That would not be the case though, as the Pens lost 1-0 in Washington (CBC.ca), making it their 6th loss in a row.
The Devils were in Oil Country, where they beat the Oilers in overtime, 2-1 (NHL.com).
